I live in Michigan with my husband, two kids, two cats, and a gecko. I'm a University of Michigan Wolverine through and through, so it's not a coincidence that my Sohni Silver Mysteries are set in Ann Arbor. I've practiced law for more than 25 years, including a number of years providing free legal services to the poor. That experience turned me into a passionate advocate for equal access to justice, and that passion is reflected in my Sohni Silver books. Sohni fights for the underdog; she speaks for those whose voices are not heard. I really like Sohni, and I hope you do too. The first book in the series, Byline, is out now.
